Benoit Mandelbrot on Perspectives

The world has not been designed for the convenience of mathematicians.

(Or Project Managers, I should add). In "The (Mis)Behavior of Markets" (2004). Benoit Mandelbrot (1924–2010) was a French American mathematician. He worked on a wide range of mathematical problems, including mathematical physics and quantitative finance, but is best known as the father of fractal geometry.
