Henry James on Kindness


Three things in human life are important. The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind. And the third is to be kind.

Henry James (1843–1916) was an American-born writer, regarded as one of the key figures of 19th-century literary realism. He was the son of Henry James, Sr. and the brother of philosopher and psychologist William James and diarist Alice James.
