Abraham Maslow on Tools



I suppose it is tempting,
if the only tool you have is a hammer,
to treat everything as if it were a nail.


in The Psychology of Science: A Reconnaissance (1966). Abraham Maslow (1908–1970), was an American professor of psychology at Brandeis University who founded humanistic psychology and created Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
